1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines what is and is not acceptable when using Ferroxel Hosting Services (web hosting, game servers, TeamSpeak 3, and Discord bot hosting). It applies to all customers and to content they host, transmit, or make available through our infrastructure.
2. Prohibited Content & Activity
You may not host, transmit, or facilitate any of the following on Ferroxel Hosting infrastructure:
- Content that is illegal under applicable law, including unlawful hate speech, CSAM, or content infringing intellectual property or privacy rights
- Malware, ransomware, exploits, or code designed to harm, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems
- Phishing operations or credential-harvesting services
- Spam, bulk unsolicited email, or message flooding (including mass bot activity on TeamSpeak or Discord)
- Port scanning, denial-of-service attacks, or any unauthorized network probing unless explicitly authorized in writing
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared plans without prior written approval [VERIFY — confirm mining policy]
- Hosting pirated game servers, cracked binaries, or bypassing other platforms' licensing
- Bot networks, proxying, or VPN services without prior written approval [VERIFY]
3. Game Server Specifics
You may run game servers you legally own and license. You may not operate servers that distribute pirated game files, unlicensed emulation services, or cheat/lag-switch services targeting other players. Cheating services (DLC unlockers, mod menus offered commercially) are prohibited.
4. TeamSpeak 3 & Discord Bots
TeamSpeak 3 servers must be for your own community communication. Discord bots must not be used for spam, raid automation, credential theft, or impersonation of Discord staff or other services.
5. Resource Usage
You may only use resources included in your plan. Activities that degrade the performance of shared infrastructure (runaway processes, sustained CPU saturation, excessive bandwidth use beyond plan limits, or operation of services materially different from the plan's purpose) may result in suspension until the issue is resolved or an upgrade is purchased.
6. Child Safety
Any content exploiting or endangering minors is grounds for immediate account termination without notice, reporting to the relevant authorities, and cooperation with law enforcement.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate reported violations and take action up to and including immediate suspension or termination of Services without refund. Where possible and safe, we will notify you before acting. We may cooperate with law enforcement regarding illegal activity.
8. Reporting
To report a violation of this policy, contact [abuse email] with details of the IP address or service and the nature of the abuse. Reports are reviewed typically within [X] business days.
9. Questions
Questions about whether an intended use is permitted: [support email]. When in doubt, ask — we answer within [X] business hours.
